I was fortunate to attend the 2018 Utrecht Conference on Earth System Governance. I presented a component of my dissertation research, attended a task force for a book project to which I am a contributor, and established connections with many environmental law researchers from around the world. My attendance was facilitated by Colorado State University and my advisor, and I am grateful for what proved to be a fantastic opportunity!

I was honored to receive an invitation to share my research interests in domestic and international environmental law with students and faculty at Colorado College. CC enjoys a breathtaking location at the base of Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, and its location, coupled with an engaged campus community, made for an inspiring visit!
I was pleased to have the opportunity to deliver a guest lecture on "Legal Innovations in the Anthropocene" at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and to share exciting developments in environmental law with an interdisciplinary graduate student audience!
Beginning today, I am teaching a new seminar ("International Law & the Environment") at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. The course is open to both graduates and undergraduates, and it will explore the nexus of global environmental politics and international environmental law. Welcome students!
I have been invited to co-author a chapter on Non-State Actors in the second edition of the Oxford Handbook on International Environmental Law. I will be co-authoring the chapter, scheduled for 2019 publication, with Michele Betsill.
I will be co-authoring two chapters (one each with Ina Möller and James Patterson) in a forthcoming edited volume which examines the role of agency in earth systems governance.
I was honored to be recognized for the Colorado State University Political Science Graduate Teaching Award!
